GAME PREVIEW: Blackfalds VS Okotoks – Game Three

Game Preview: The Blackfalds Bulldogs host the Okotoks Oilers Tuesday in game three of their best-of-seven opening round series. The Bulldogs trail the Oilers 2-0 in the series following a 2-1 loss Saturday on the road. Nick Magis had the only goal for the Bulldogs in Saturday’s setback. Lucas Massie was brilliant in net, turning away 27 shots in a losing cause. Home Cooking: The Eagle Builders Centre was a positive place for the Bulldogs during the regular season. Blackfalds posted a 15-14-1 record at home this season and they went 10-6 down the stretch at the Eagle Builders Centre following the Christmas break.

McNaughton: If the Bulldogs want to get back into their series with the Okotoks Oilers, they are going to have to find a way to beat Jack McNaughton, who has been sensational during the first two games. The Calgary, AB product has only allowed two goals on 55 shots. McNaughton has a 1.00 GAA and .964 save percentage so far in the series.
