GAME PREVIEW: Blackfalds VS Okotoks – Game Four

Game Preview: The Blackfalds Bulldogs host the Okotoks Oilers Wednesday in game four of their best-of-seven opening round series. The Bulldogs trail the Oilers 3-0 in the series following a 6-3 loss Tuesday in Blackfalds at the Eagle Builders Centre. The Bulldogs got goals from Tye Carriere, Deegan Mofford and Kobe Assam. First Goal Success: For the third straight game in the series, the Okotoks Oilers opened the scoring Tuesday en route to a 6-3 victory. The Bulldogs were finally able to beat Jack McNaughton more than once Tuesday evening. McNaughton has been brilliant in the series, turning away 76 shots through three games and posting a .938 save percentage.

Lorenz: Rieger Lorenz scored once and added two assists for a three-point evening Tuesday in Blackfalds. The Calgary, AB product leads the Oilers with five points in three playoff games versus the Bulldogs. Lorenz tallied 85 points 60 regular season games, which was good enough for fifth in AJHL scoring.
