Game Preview: The Blackfalds Bulldogs will search for their second straight win Saturday on home ice when they entertain the Okotoks Oilers. The Bulldogs will look to build off an 8-7 overtime victory Friday at the Eagle Builders Centre versus the Drumheller Dragons. Blackfalds sits sixth in the AJHL South with its 20-26-1 record.
The Okotoks Oilers will try to rebound Saturday after dropping a 3-1 decision Friday at home to the Drayton Valley Thunder. The Oilers control fourth in the AJHL South with their 24-21-2 mark. Okotoks leads the season series with the Bulldogs 2-1. Blackfalds took the last matchup 4-3 in Okotoks back on Dec. 11.

Heindel the Hero: Bulldogs defenceman Adam Heindel scored the overtime winner Friday at home versus the Drumheller Dragons. The Lacombe, AB product ended his night with two goals. Heindel extended his point streak to five games – he has seven points during that span.
Lightning Lorenz: Okotoks Oilers forward Rieger Lorenz has had quite the campaign. The 17-year-old Calgary, AB product sits fourth in AJHL scoring with 72 points in 47 games. He is committed to the University of Denver.
Looking Ahead: After Saturday’s game at home versus Okotoks, the Bulldogs will get set for two games next weekend at home. Blackfalds will host the Olds Grizzlys Feb. 4 and the Drumheller Dragons Feb. 5 at the Eagle Builders Centre.
