GAME PREVIEW: Blackfalds VS Okotoks

Game Preview: The Blackfalds Bulldogs will look for their second straight win Saturday at home versus the Okotoks Oilers. The Bulldogs are coming off a 5-2 victory Friday night in Okotoks. Blackfalds is currently sitting in fifth in the AJHL South with its 28-30-1 record.

The Okotoks Oilers have dropped their last two games. The Oilers are 2-6-2 in their last 10 games. Okotoks is controlling fourth in the AJHL South with its 27-28-4 record. The Oilers lead the season series with the Bulldogs 3-2.

Home Ice Advantage: The Blackfalds Bulldogs will meet the Okotoks Oilers in the opening round of the AJHL playoffs. Home ice advantage in that series is on the line Saturday in Blackfalds. If the Bulldogs can tame the Oilers in regulation for the second straight night, they will move into fourth and start their playoff series with Okotoks at the Eagle Builders Centre.

Heindel: Blackfalds Bulldogs defenceman Adam Heindel had a big night Friday, recording three assists in Okotoks. The Lacombe, AB product has 12 points in his last 10 games. Heindel has tallied 35 points in 46 games this season with the Bulldogs.

Awards Night: Saturday marks Awards Night at the Eagle Builders Centre. Following their game with the Okotoks Oilers, the Bulldogs will hand out their team awards.
