Game Preview: The Blackfalds Bulldogs will search for their second straight win Wednesday on home ice when they entertain the Drumheller Dragons. The Bulldogs are coming off a 5-4 victory Saturday versus the Fort McMurray Oil Barons at the Eagle Builders Centre. Blackfalds sits sixth in the AJHL South with its 16-25-1 record.
The Drumheller Dragons will be looking to rebound Wednesday after dropping a 4-3 decision in Canmore Tuesday to the Eagles. The Dragons are controlling third in the AJHL South with their 24-14-4 record.

Scheduling Quirk: Despite playing 42 games this season, the Blackfalds Bulldogs haven’t played the Drumheller Dragons yet. After Wednesday’s contest at home versus the Dragons, the Bulldogs still have to meet up with the Dragons five more times.
Multi-Goal Efforts: Brendan Ross and Ethan Lund both had big games Saturday at home versus the Fort McMurray Oil Barons. Ross and Lund scored two goals each in the victory. Ross has 14 points in 33 games this season, while Lund has recorded 19 points in 39 contests.
Up Next: Following Wednesday’s game at home versus the Drumheller Dragons, the Blackfalds Bulldogs will host the Olds Grizzlys Friday. On Saturday, the Bulldogs welcome the Grizzlys to town again. Both games this weekend are slated to get underway at 7 p.m. from the Eagle Builders Centre.
