GAME PREVIEW: Blackfalds VS Drumheller

Game Preview: The Blackfalds Bulldogs will search for their second straight win Saturday at home when they entertain the Drumheller Dragons. The Bulldogs will look to build off their 8-6 victory Friday at the Eagle Builders Centre versus the Olds Grizzlys. Blackfalds sits sixth in the AJHL South with its 21-27-1 record.

The Drumheller Dragons go for their third straight win Saturday in Blackfalds. The Dragons dumped the Camrose Kodiaks 5-4 in Drumheller Friday evening. Drumheller controls second in the AJHL South with its 28-14-8 record. The Bulldogs lead the season series with the Dragons 2-1.

Big Night for Magis: Blackfalds Bulldogs forward Nick Magis had a big evening Friday versus the Olds Grizzlys when he scored once and added three assists. The Leduc, AB product has tallied 10 points in his last 10 games. Magis has 32 points in 45 games this season.

Willick: Drumheller Dragons defenceman Tanner Willick is riding a four-game point streak heading into Saturday’s tilt with the Bulldogs. The Saskatoon, SK product has seven points during that span. Willick has recorded 30 points in 44 games this season with the Dragons.

Looking Ahead: Following Saturday’s game, the Bulldogs will host the Sherwood Park Crusaders Feb. 9 at the Eagle Builders Centre. Blackfalds will then travel to Olds Feb. 11 and Camrose Feb. 12.
