Game Preview: The Blackfalds Bulldogs will be looking to end a two-game slide Friday night on home ice when they entertain the Canmore Eagles at the Eagle Builders Centre. The Bulldogs are coming off a 4-2 loss Wednesday at home to the Okotoks Oilers. Blackfalds sits sixth in the AJHL South with its 12-16-1 mark.
The Canmore Eagles will also be trying to halt a two-game skid Friday evening. The Eagles dropped a 4-1 decision in Camrose to the Kodiaks Tuesday. Canmore is holding down fifth in the AJHL South with its 10-16-6 record.
Friday’s matchup between the Bulldogs and Eagles marks the fifth battle of the season between the two hockey clubs. Blackfalds is 2-1-1 versus Canmore this season. The Bulldogs took the last meeting 4-3 in overtime back on Nov. 27.

Christmas Break Approaching: The Blackfalds Bulldogs have just five games remaining before the Christmas break. The Bulldogs will play four of those contests at home and one on the road Saturday when the Bulldogs make the trek to Okotoks.
Looking Ahead: Following Friday’s matchup at the Eagle Builders Centre with the Canmore Eagles, the Bulldogs will conclude their weekend Saturday in Okotoks versus the Oilers. The Bulldogs are back at home Dec. 15 when they welcome the Camrose Kodiaks to town.
