GAME PREVIEW: Blackfalds VS Camrose

Game Preview: The Blackfalds Bulldogs will be looking for their second straight win Wednesday at home when they welcome the Camrose Kodiaks to the Eagle Builders Centre. The Bulldogs are coming off a 4-3 victory Saturday in Okotoks versus the Oilers. Blackfalds sits sixth in the AJHL South with its 13-17-1 record.

The Camrose Kodiaks will try to bounce back after a 6-2 loss on home ice Tuesday night to the Drumheller Dragons. The Kodiaks are controlling third in the AJHL South with their 20-13-2 mark.

The Bulldogs and Kodiaks have met up twice this season. Blackfalds took the last matchup with the Kodiaks 5-2 back on Nov. 20 at the Eagle Builders Centre.

Super Siedem: Bulldogs forward Jason Siedem is riding a three-game point streak entering Wednesday’s game versus the Camrose Kodiaks. The New Jersey product has four points in his last three games and he chipped in with two assists Saturday in Okotoks. Siedem has 13 points in 16 games with the Bulldogs this season.

Camrose’s Offence: The Camrose Kodiaks have seven players with at least 24 points this season. Forward Carson Whyte leads the way with 31 points in 35 games.

Looking Ahead: Following Wednesday’s game at home versus the Camrose Kodiaks, the Bulldogs have just two games left before the Christmas break. Blackfalds will host the Lloydminster Bobcats Friday at the Eagle Builders Centre before welcoming Grande Prairie to town Saturday.
