The Calgary Canucks will look for their second consecutive victory Wednesday after taming the Drumheller Dragons Saturday 2-1 at home. The Canucks are controlling seventh in the AJHL South with their 12-36-6 record. The Bulldogs lead the season series with the Canucks 4-1.

Harney’s First Goal: Blackfalds Bulldogs defenceman Joe Harney recorded his first AJHL goal Saturday in Camrose versus the Kodiaks. The Massachusetts product has tallied seven points in 33 games this season with the Bulldogs. He was acquired in a trade from the Cowichan Valley Capitals of the BCHL earlier in the season.
Superhero/First Responders Night: Wednesday’s contest versus the Calgary Canucks marks Superhero/First Responders Night at the Eagle Builders Centre. First responders will be honoured prior to the game with a ceremonial puck drop. Fans are encouraged to wear their favourite superhero costumes to the game.
Looking Ahead: After Wednesday’s matchup with the Calgary Canucks, the Bulldogs will host the Bonnyville Pontiacs Friday at the Eagle Builders Centre. Blackfalds will then travel to Drumheller Saturday for a date with the Dragons. The Bulldogs will head back to Drumheller Monday for an afternoon affair.
