GAME PREVIEW: Blackfalds VS Brooks

Game Preview: The Blackfalds Bulldogs will be looking to end a four-game skid Friday in Lacombe when they meet the Bandits for the second time this season. Blackfalds is coming off a 3-2 loss Tuesday night in Camrose to the Kodiaks. The Bulldogs are 2-5 on the campaign.

The Brooks Bandits have posted a 6-1 record and they will go for their sixth straight win. The Bandits edged the Canmore Eagles 4-1 Wednesday.

Lund is Rolling: Blackfalds forward Ethan Lund has goals in back-to-back games. The Hermantown, MN product scored a highlight-reel goal Tuesday night in Camrose versus the Kodiaks when he went end-to-end. The 18-year-old has four points in seven games this season.

Meerman’s First: Blackfalds’ Brett Meerman scored his first goal of the season on Tuesday in Camrose. It was a special moment for Meerman and his family as he hails from Blackfalds.

Bandits Offensive Punch: Through seven games of the AJHL season, the Brooks Bandits have four players with at least 10 points. Ryan McAllister leads the way for the Bandits with 15 points, which has him ranked second in AJHL scoring entering the weekend.
