GAME PREVIEW: Blackfalds @ Okotoks – Game Two

Game Preview: The Blackfalds Bulldogs dropped the first game of their opening round series with the Oilers in Okotoks 4-1 Friday night. The Oilers had a slight 2-1 edge until the 15:29 mark of the third when Bowden Singleton added some insurance. The Bulldogs will look to rebound Saturday in Okotoks in the second installment of the best-of-seven series. Puck drop is slated for 7 p.m. at the Pason Centennial Arena. You can catch Saturday’s game on the Bulldogs Radio Network with Braden Malsbury. You can also watch the action on HockeyTV.

Siedem Makes History: It was a memorable game Friday for Blackfalds Bulldogs forward Jason Siedem. The New Jersey product scored the first playoff goal in franchise history for the Bulldogs. Siedem took a cross-ice feed from Brendan Ross in the middle stanza and made no mistake.

Glassford Returns: Bulldogs goaltender Jackson Glassford returned to the crease Friday night. The Nanoose Bay, B.C. product had not started a game since Feb. 21 in Drumheller. Glassford left that contest early in the first and didn’t return. Glassford was strong in net Friday, making 34 saves in a losing cause.
