The Okotoks Oilers have posted a 6-3 record and will be searching for their fourth straight win. The Oilers are coming off a 3-0 win Saturday at home versus the Drumheller Dragons. Monday’s matchup in Okotoks is the first one of the season between the Oilers and Bulldogs.

Three Straight Shutouts: The Okotoks Oilers have recorded three straight shutouts. The last time they allowed a goal was Oct. 2 in Brooks when they lost 6-3 to the Whitecourt Wolverines at the AJHL Showcase. With Saturday’s 3-0 win over the Drumheller Dragons, the Oilers became the seventh team in AJHL history to record three consecutive shutouts.
Looking Ahead: Following Monday’s contest in Okotoks, the Blackfalds Bulldogs will have some time off before facing the Canucks in Calgary Friday. The Bulldogs will then make the trek to Spruce Grove Saturday for a date with the Saints.
