Game Preview: The Blackfalds Bulldogs will look for their sixth straight win Saturday in Drumheller versus the Dragons. The Bulldogs are coming off a 3-2 victory in overtime Friday at the Eagle Builders Centre over the Bonnyville Pontiacs. Blackfalds is still in fifth in the AJHL South with its 26-28-1 record.
The Drumheller Dragons will search for their third straight win Saturday. The Dragons dumped the Eagles 3-1 in Canmore on Thursday. Drumheller is controlling second in the AJHL South with its 32-16-8 mark. The season series between the Bulldogs and Dragons is even at two games apiece.

Heindel the Hero: Blackfalds Bulldogs defenceman Adam Heindel scored the overtime winner Friday night versus the Bonnyville Pontiacs. He also had an overtime winner Oct. 30 in Whitecourt against the Wolverines. The Lacombe, AB product has recorded 30 points in 42 games this season with the Bulldogs.
Crowe: Drumheller Dragons defenceman True Crowe is riding a three-game point streak entering Saturday’s matchup with the Bulldogs. The Colorado product has four points during that span. Crowe began the season with the Olds Grizzlys.
Looking Ahead: Following Saturday’s game in Drumheller, the Blackfalds Bulldogs will travel back to Drumheller Monday for an afternoon contest with the Dragons. The Bulldogs are back at home Wednesday when the Camrose Kodiaks come to town for a 7 p.m. puck drop at the Eagle Builders Centre.
