GAME PREVIEW: Blackfalds @ Drumheller

Game Preview: The Blackfalds Bulldogs will go for their seventh consecutive win Monday afternoon in Drumheller when they face the Dragons. The Bulldogs are coming off a 6-4 victory Saturday in Drumheller. Blackfalds sits fifth in the AJHL South with its 27-28-1 record.  

The Drumheller Dragons enter Monday’s action second in the AJHL South with their 32-17-8 record. Drumheller is 6-3-1 in its last 10 games. Meantime, the Bulldogs lead the season series 3-2 versus the Dragons.

Mighty Mofford: Blackfalds Bulldogs forward Deegan Mofford scored twice Saturday night in Drumheller. The Rocky Mountain House, AB product is riding a four-game point streak – he has seven points during that span. Mofford has collected 15 points in 19 games since joining the Bulldogs.

Belitski: Drumheller Dragons forward Carter Belitski led the way offensively for the Dragons Saturday with three points. The Regina, SK product is currently on a three-game point streak – he has five points during that span. Belitski is committed to the University of Alaska Anchorage.

Up Next: Following Monday’s game in Drumheller, the Bulldogs return home to face the Camrose Kodiaks Wednesday at the Eagle Builders Centre. Blackfalds will then travel to Okotoks Friday before concluding the regular season Saturday on home ice versus the Okotoks Oilers.
