GAME PREVIEW: Blackfalds @ Camrose

Game Preview: The Blackfalds Bulldogs will try and snap a five-game skid Sunday afternoon in Camrose when they clash with the Kodiaks. The Bulldogs will be looking to rebound after a 6-3 setback Friday on home ice versus the league-leading Brooks Bandits. The Bulldogs are still controlling sixth place in the AJHL South with their 13-22-1 record.

The Camrose Kodiaks have been idle since Dec. 19 when they defeated the Grande Prairie Storm 4-1 at home. The Kodiaks are riding a three-game winning streak entering Sunday’s battle with the Bulldogs. Camrose is second in the AJHL South with its 23-13-2 record.

The Kodiaks lead the season series with the Bulldogs 2-1. It was Camrose taking the last matchup 3-1 back on Dec. 15 at the Eagle Builders Centre.

Whyte: Camrose Kodiaks forward Carson Whyte is riding a three-game point streak entering Sunday’s matchup with the Blackfalds Bulldogs. The Regina, SK product has tallied eight points in his last 10 games.

Up Next: After Sunday’s contest in Camrose, the Bulldogs will take some time off before facing the Crusaders in Sherwood Park Jan. 7. Blackfalds is back at home Jan. 8 when they host the Calgary Canucks at the Eagle Builders Centre.
