GAME PREVIEW: Blackfalds @ Brooks

Game Preview: The Blackfalds Bulldogs will be searching for their third straight win Saturday in Brooks. The Bulldogs are coming off a 3-2 victory Friday in Calgary versus the Canucks. Blackfalds has posted a 7-10 record, which has them in fifth in the AJHL South. Blackfalds has five wins in its last seven outings.  

The Brooks Bandits will look for their 17th straight win Saturday. The Bandits are 17-1 on the season and they will look to build off a 7-3 win Friday night in Drumheller versus the Dragons.

Massie Rolling: Bulldogs goalie Lucas Massie has picked up four wins in his last six starts. The California product improved his record to 5-7 following Friday’s win in Calgary. Massie has started the last three games for the Bulldogs.

McAllister Named AJHL Player of the Month: Brooks Bandits forward Ryan McAllister was named the Alberta Ford Dealers AJHL Player of the Month for October 2021. Through 12 games in October, the 19-year-old Bandit scored nine goals and 18 assists for 27 points – the most of all AJHL skaters through the month.

Up Next: Following Saturday’s game in Brooks, the Bulldogs will get set for two road games next weekend. The Bulldogs face the Pontiacs in Bonnyville Nov. 12 and then take on the Oil Barons the next night in Fort McMurray.
