Bulldogs win sixth straight

The Blackfalds Bulldogs recorded their sixth straight win Saturday night in Drumheller when they defeated the Dragons 6-4.

Jayden Joly scored the eventual game-winner 15:27 into the third frame when he danced into the Drumheller zone and beat Eric Ward cleanly for his 11th of the campaign.

Deegan Mofford led the Bulldogs with two goals, while Corey McCann, Ethan Lund and Jason Siedem rounded out the attack. Jackson Glassford turned away 33 shots for his fifth straight win.

Ty Daneault, Hayden Prosofsky, Carter Belitski and Kiano Robinson scored for Drumheller. Eric Ward made 23 saves in a losing cause.

With the win, the Bulldogs improved to 27-28-1 on the campaign, which still has them in fifth in the AJHL South.

Blackfalds will look to keep things rolling Monday afternoon in Drumheller versus the Dragons.
