Bulldogs win fourth straight

The Blackfalds Bulldogs recorded their fourth straight win Wednesday night at home when they defeated the Calgary Canucks 6-4.

Tye Carriere scored twice for the Bulldogs, while Spencer Bell, Brett Meerman, Ryan Johnson and Jason Siedem also found the back of the net for Blackfalds. Jackson Glassford made 29 saves for his third consecutive victory.

Daniel Rozsival, Matthew Brunton, Riley Hearn and Justin Barker scored for Calgary. Affiliate goalie Spencer Borsos turned away 30 shots in the loss.

With the win, the Bulldogs improved to 25-28-1 on the season, which still has them in fifth in the AJHL South.

Blackfalds will try for its fifth straight win Friday night at home when they host the Bonnyville Pontiacs at the Eagle Builders Centre.
