The Blackfalds Bulldogs dropped a 4-1 decision Wednesday night at home to the Camrose Kodiaks.

The Bulldogs only goal of the game came at the 11:02 mark of the third period when Ryan Johnson banked home his 17th of the campaign. Lucas Massie made his first start since Jan. 21 and the California product turned away 16 shots in a losing cause.

Jack Wolder, Michael Horon, Robert Kincaid and Callum Gau scored for the Kodiaks on Wednesday. Logan Willcott was brilliant, making 24 saves for his 15th win of the campaign in the Camrose net.

With the loss, the Bulldogs slipped to 27-30-1 on the campaign, which still has them parked in fifth in the AJHL South.

Blackfalds will look to rebound Friday on the road in Okotoks versus the Oilers. The Bulldogs will then conclude their regular season schedule Saturday on home ice versus Okotoks.
