The Blackfalds Bulldogs saw their six-game winning streak end Monday afternoon in Drumheller when they dropped a 4-2 decision to the Dragons.
Carter Yarish and Brett Meerman provided the goals for the Bulldogs. Lucas Massie made 20 saves in a losing cause. Jackson Glassford got the start, but he left the game at the 7:59 mark of the first period. Glassford turned away all five shots he faced in Drumheller.
The Dragons got goals from Hayden Prosofsky, Tanner Willick, Luke Fennig and Sam Simard. Garrett Fuller stopped 36 shots for his ninth win of the campaign.
With the loss, the Bulldogs slipped to 27-29-1 on the campaign, which still has them sitting in fifth in the AJHL South.
Blackfalds will look to rebound Wednesday on home ice when they host the Camrose Kodiaks at the Eagle Builders Centre.
