Bulldogs sign Plandowski

The Blackfalds Bulldogs are thrilled to announce they have signed 2005-born forward Jack Plandowski to a letter of intent for the 2022-23 AJHL season.

“I am honoured and extremely excited to sign with the Bulldogs. Blackfalds is an amazing organization and I’m looking forward to getting started,” said Plandowski. “I would describe myself as a skilled forward who reads the ice well. I take pride in my skating and I’m a team player.”

The Alberta product is coming off an impressive 2021-22 season, recording 64 points in 83 games with the Bishop Kearney Selects 16U AAA team.  Plandowski was part of a team that captured the national championship.

“Jack is a smart, playmaking forward who makes the players around him better,” said Bulldogs Asst. GM Adam West. “We are excited to add his hockey IQ and puck skills to our exciting forward group.”

Plandowski’s older brother Oscar plays for the Charlottetown Islanders in the QMJHL.

Meanwhile, the Bulldogs also inked 2003-born defenceman Jaedon Kerr to a letter of intent earlier in the week.
