The Blackfalds Bulldogs are excited to announce they have signed 2003-born defenceman Jaedon Kerr to a letter of intent for the 2022-23 AJHL season.
“I am extremely honoured and excited to see what the future holds. It’s exciting to be part of an amazing organization with great people and outstanding culture,” said Kerr. “I would describe myself as a puck-moving defenceman who prides myself on my ability to play defence and turn it into offence.”
The Fishers, IN, USA product recorded 28 points in 35 games during the 2021-22 campaign with Culver Military Academy. He also added 32 penalty minutes and had a plus-19 rating this past season.
“Jaedon is the type of player we were looking to bring in and fill a need as a big, strong, defender. With his combination of size, strength, and mobility – he’ll provide us with some solid defensive play while still being able to contribute at both ends of the ice,” said Bulldogs Asst. GM Adam West. “Jaedon has proved himself as a leader during his time at Culver Academy and we’re excited that he’s bringing those qualities to the Bulldogs.”
Meantime, the Bulldogs hosted a successful development camp this past weekend at the Eagle Builders Centre in Blackfalds.
