The Blackfalds Bulldogs have signed 2004-born forward Bailey Ewonus to a letter of intent for the 2022-23 AJHL campaign.
“Playing junior A has always been dream for me since I had started playing hockey,” said Ewonus. “When I received that message from the Bulldogs about joining the crew for the upcoming season, I was thrilled to be given this opportunity to come and play for the team.”
The Coquitlam, B.C. product has collected 20 points in 27 games this season with the Delta Hockey Academy U18 Prep team.
“Bailey is a great kid from a great family, he has shown over the past few seasons how much a player can develop through consistent hard work at Delta Academy,” said Bulldogs Asst. GM Adam West. “He has tremendous speed with a scorers touch and we’re very excited to add him to our group for next season.”
Meantime, the Bulldogs are back in action Friday when they welcome the Olds Grizzlys to the Eagle Builders Centre for a 7 p.m. puck drop.
Blackfalds will conclude its weekend Saturday when the Drumheller Dragons come to town.
