The Blackfalds Bulldogs are now facing elimination following a 6-3 loss Tuesday at home to the Okotoks Oilers in their opening round playoff series.
The Bulldogs got goals from Tye Carriere, Deegan Mofford and Kobe Assam. Lucas Massie turned away 20 shots in a losing cause.
Bowden Singleton, Rieger Lorenz, Brett Huxley, Riley Bodnarchuk, Brendan Boyle and Ty Yoder scored for the Oilers. Lorenz led the way for Okotoks with a three-point evening. Jack McNaughton stopped 23 shots for the victory.
With the loss, the Bulldogs now trail their best-of-seven series with the Oilers 3-0. The Bulldogs will look to rebound Wednesday night at home in the fourth installment of the series. Puck drop is slated for 7 p.m. at the Eagle Builders Centre Wednesday.
