The Blackfalds Bulldogs dropped a 4-1 decision in Lloydminster to the Bobcats Saturday.
The Bulldogs opened the scoring 24 seconds into the first period when Spencer Bell wired it past Kolby Thornton for his sixth of the campaign.
Zafir Rawji, Ethan Aucoin and Ryan Schendel would all score power play goals in the second period as the Lloydminster Bobcats took a 3-1 advantage into the third stanza.
Chase Visser added another goal for the Bobcats in the third period when he tucked it past Lucas Massie, who made 39 saves in the loss. Kolby Thornton stopped 32 shots for the victory.
With the loss, the Bulldogs slipped to 12-15-1 on the season, which has them in sixth place in the AJHL South.
Blackfalds will look to rebound Wednesday on home ice when they entertain the Okotoks Oilers at the Eagle Builders Centre.
