The Blackfalds Bulldogs saw their two-game win streak come to an abrupt end Friday night in Grande Prairie when they dropped a 4-1 decision to the Storm.
The Storm got on the board 3:51 into the first period when Zach Brooks fired the puck in a yawning cage. Lucas Massie made 30 saves in the loss for Blackfalds.
Ethan Strang, Edge Lambert and Sam Vincent all found the back of the net in the second period as the Storm took a 4-0 lead into the third stanza.
With just 50 seconds left in the game, Jason Siedem scored his first AJHL goal in his debut for the Bulldogs. Siedem beat Aidan Feddema, who turned away 19 shots for the victory.
With the loss, the Bulldogs slipped to 5-10 on the season. Blackfalds is back in action Saturday in Whitecourt when they meet the Wolverines for the second time this season.
