The Blackfalds Bulldogs announced Wednesday they have acquired 2002-born forward Jason Siedem and a PDF from the Cowichan Valley Capitals (BCHL) in exchange for the playing rights of 2002-born defenceman Jordan Edwards.
“Jason is a power forward who is going to bring size and skill to our forward group,” said Al Parada, the director of hockey operations with the Bulldogs. “We are pleased to add Jason to the Bulldog family and we look forward to seeing him in the lineup this weekend.”
Siedem recorded two points in three games this season with the Capitals. The Madison, NJ product had five points in nine games with Avon Old Farms School during the 2019-20 campaign.
Meantime, the Bulldogs are back in action Wednesday in Olds when they meet the Grizzlys for the second time this season.
Following Wednesday’s matchup, the Bulldogs travel to Grande Prairie Friday and Whitecourt Saturday to close out their weekend.
